Saulsbury Industries, a national provider of engineering, construction and fabrication services, faced an unmanageable challenge coordinating thousands of project documents across as many as 500 people per project (and dozens of projects). They needed a simple, secure Project Management portal/document management system to let internal staff and external contractors post, view, download and subscribe to documents without heavy manual intervention. Clarity was engaged to design and deliver that portal.

Clarity implemented the solution by porting the corporate site template and building a custom UI/UX on a DNN-based platform (HTML5/CSS3, jQuery, SQL Server, Telerik), embedding help documentation and a support video, and adding subscriptions, automatic notifications and role-and-scope-based security. The result: Saulsbury can securely manage thousands of documents across multiple projects (handling the typical scenario of up to 500 documents and 500 contributors per project), reduce support calls, and ensure field engineers and contractors receive timely updates and confirmations.
