New Horizons Computer Learning Centers, the world’s largest independent IT training company with 350+ global franchises and 30 years of experience, needed a way to distribute consistent corporate content while letting each franchise manage its own payment methods, course catalogs, languages, pricing and subscriptions. Clarity (working with Footprint) was engaged to deliver a scalable e‑commerce/CMS solution, leveraging the Clarity eCommerce platform to balance centralized publishing with local franchise autonomy.
Clarity implemented a centralized/decentralized management system built on Clarity Enterprise eCommerce™ and DNN/Evoq (MS SQL backend, AngularJS/HTML5 front end) with integrations to multiple global payment gateways, enabling corporate to push courses and marketing while franchises stage, translate, reject or customize content and payment options. The rollout—five‑site beta, then 200 U.S. sites the next weekend and 150 international sites over two weeks—deployed 350 websites in three weeks, delivering multi‑lingual, multi‑currency, omni‑channel capability and immediate franchise-level control.
