APPIC - Customer Case Study

APPIC, a non‑profit focused on internship and postdoctoral training, was managing 700–800 members with manual membership renewals, invoicing, and conference registration and needed a modern, CMS‑driven website with staged publishing and a refreshed look. Clarity was engaged to deliver website refreshes and an automated membership, e‑mail invoicing, online payment and conference registration system (built using DNN Evoq/Classic ASP, SQL Server and a responsive HTML5/CSS3/Bootstrap front end).

Clarity performed a needs analysis, delivered specifications, built a staging site for testing, and migrated key modules in staged releases with validation to ensure a seamless transition. The Clarity solution automated invoicing and payments and streamlined conference registration, leading to dramatically improved membership renewals, increased eCommerce traffic and lead generation, reduced internal turnaround time, better visitor retention, and support for APPIC’s 700–800 members (with mobile responsiveness added in a second refresh).
