Häagen-Dazs used Clarity Wave’s EPIC® system to address very high employee turnover, low engagement, and poor quality scores across multiple branches. Before the project, turnover was above 70% a year, mystery sale results were below the global brand target in several locations, and teams were unmotivated with weak retention and sales performance.
Clarity Wave deployed EPIC® companywide to measure engagement and identify the main sources of stress, which led to the replacement of two toxic zone managers and a focus on feedback, recognition, leadership, and process improvement. As a result, participation stayed above 50% with more than 30,000 responses collected, quality scores improved to an average of 9.3, and turnover dropped to below 40% within the first six months, with a continued trend toward the 25% goal.
