Fallon Health, a Worcester-based insurer and provider founded in 1977 serving about 210,000 members, sought to consolidate production of member communications to improve member experience and increase engagement. The organization faced operational risk from producing ID cards on a single in-house machine and needed a secure, scalable solution to create efficiencies and make healthcare communications easier and more convenient for members.

Fallon partnered with Clarity in 2011 to outsource ID card production and has since moved ten products (including ID cards, member kits, EOBs, forms and e-delivery) onto Clarity’s platform. The partnership provided redundancy, workflow controls and a path to centralize communications—including a streamlined Member Guide and engagement tools—resulting in more secure, efficient production, simpler member access to materials and improved opportunities for member participation.
