Preview of the Royal Automobile Club of Western Australia Case Study

Royal Automobile Club of Western Australia covers 9,700 sq. km. with Clarity Movement

The Royal Automobile Club of Western Australia (RAC WA) sought to address the public health threat of air pollution in the Perth region. To better understand and reduce emissions, particularly from vehicles, RAC WA partnered with Clarity Movement to invest in a cutting-edge air quality monitoring network that would keep the community informed.

Clarity implemented its solution by deploying 200 Node-S air quality sensors across a 9,700 sq. km. area. This network, powered by Clarity's Sensing-as-a-Service and integrated with advanced modeling, provides real-time, hyperlocal air quality data to the public via an interactive platform. The project empowers residents to make healthier choices and provides invaluable data for government and industry to shape policies that curb emissions, establishing a model for corporate-led environmental initiatives.
