Star One Credit Union, a financial institution with over 250 employees, was looking to better understand its membership base. With an outdated segmentation model, they struggled to identify their best members and had significant demographic data gaps. The credit union’s VP of Marketing engaged Claritas and its P$YCLE Premier segmentation analysis to gain new insights into member behaviors and profiles.
Claritas analyzed 126,000 member records to provide validated, testable insights. Using this analysis, Star One launched targeted member acquisition campaigns developed by Claritas across email, social, and display channels. The results were significant: within two months, the campaigns attributed over 1,200 new accounts and more than $10 million in deposits. The campaign performance also exceeded industry average click-through rates across all channels.
