Harvey Water Softeners, a UK manufacturer and the country’s largest water‑softener company, was struggling to scale with fragmented legacy systems and paper processes. Sales and service ran in separate non‑relational systems, staff reverted to spreadsheets, and the company needed a cohesive, efficient solution to support rapid growth and a new factory mortgage during a recession.

The company developed a custom app on the FileMaker Platform that integrates manufacturing, inventory, lead management, customer service, sales, installations and third‑party APIs, deployed on desktops and iPads for more than 300 users.
