Travis County Fire Rescue in Texas, led by Chief Ken Bailey, faced the urgent challenge of vaccinating 1.3 million residents against COVID‑19 while grappling with hours‑long lines, slow paper registration and masked verbal intake that slowed throughput and limited reach.

Partnering with iSolutions, they built the FileMaker‑based Vax Tracker app in eight days and deployed it on iPads to capture registrations, scan driver’s licenses, and meet reporting requirements. Registration times fell from hours to minutes, drive‑through and mobile clinics scaled quickly, and teams reached vulnerable communities—allowing the county to administer many more vaccines with fewer resources.
