Beverly Public Schools, a K–12 district in Massachusetts, faced a sudden shift to full remote learning in spring 2020 and the rollout of a one-to-one laptop program. The district struggled with time-consuming, paper-based workflows and needed reliable student information system (SIS) integration and Apple School Manager support to scale device management and remote learning quickly.

BPS built custom apps with Claris FileMaker and used Claris Connect to sync SIS roster data with Apple School Manager in minutes, automating device assignment, payments, and related workflows. The district deployed 1,800 additional devices in three months, eliminated many manual processes, and now supports hybrid learning with faster provisioning and easier access to apps and services for administrators, teachers, students, and families.
