Provincial Parks of the Antwerp Region unifies 14 apps and cuts PO email traffic 50% with Claris

The Provincial Parks of the Antwerp Region, a public parks organization in Belgium, faced operational challenges tied to fragmented, manual processes across maintenance, bookings, and billing managed through over 1,300 spreadsheets and emails. Seeking efficiency and better data access, they partnered with Claris and its Platinum Partner, ClickWorks, utilizing the Claris FileMaker platform to develop tailored custom applications.

The solution involved building an ecosystem of more than 14 integrated FileMaker apps called DIGIPARK, covering maintenance reporting, facility rental, visitor tracking, and internal billing. This Claris-powered system automated workflows, enabling real-time data access and eliminating all spreadsheets for internal purchase orders. The results included a 50% reduction in emails for PO processing, replaced 15 spreadsheet tabs with a single structured data table for HR, and enabled one-click budget approvals, significantly speeding up operations and improving service delivery.
