Pennsylvania Coalition Against Domestic Violence - Customer Case Study

The Pennsylvania Coalition Against Domestic Violence (PCADV) is the first state domestic violence coalition, coordinating a network of 60 community programs that provide crisis hotlines, shelters, counseling and legal assistance to nearly 100,000 victims each year. To manage statewide program operations, ensure compliance, and collect timely data from shelters and police departments, PCADV needed a reliable, efficient technology platform that could support administration and data-driven decision-making across many partners.

PCADV’s IT team built custom solutions on the FileMaker Platform to handle time‑tracking, help desk and inventory management and to collect and analyze statewide service data via FileMaker WebDirect. Upgrades in FileMaker 14 — notably faster WebDirect rendering and the Script Workspace — sped development, troubleshooting and data deployment. The result: streamlined workflows, faster collection and reporting of program data, and more informed, timely services delivered across the state.
