Seachem Laboratories, an international pet-care manufacturer, needed a way to roll out a retailer loyalty program (bronze–platinum tiers based on product range) across thousands of stores worldwide and give its sales team a practical way to capture on‑shelf presence and manage partner rankings. The core challenge was turning a sound concept into a scalable, mobile process that sales reps could use in the field.
Seachem deployed a FileMaker mobile solution (FileMaker Go with barcode scanning and Google Maps integration) to create a mobile CRM and product‑performance tracker. The system was rapidly expanded to the global sales force, improving field efficiency, enabling quick identification of underperforming products, and providing the data needed to build a “scientific” success and training plan—strengthening retailer loyalty and boosting on‑shelf visibility.
