Harmonizing business at Metropolis Studios

Metropolis Studios, Europe’s largest independently owned recording, mastering and production complex in West London, needed a more flexible way to manage growing finance, booking and client-data demands. An enterprise SAP finance system proved clunky for data entry and export, and the studio wanted to digitize bookings, reservations and content capture to cut administrative work and let staff focus on clients and creative work.

The studio’s Director quickly built a custom FileMaker solution that replaced SAP for invoicing, credit and financials and was rolled out to bookings, CRM, reservations and audio/video data capture. The result was dramatically reduced admin, multi-device access via WebDirect and FileMaker Go, inline audio/video commenting, faster workflows, greater agility and more time spent with clients.
