A Claremont Case Study
The National Water Safety Forum, a water safety organization, faced the challenge of improving bystander actions during water-related emergencies. Their existing campaign needed to be more memorable and effective at encouraging safe intervention. They engaged the vendor Claremont for creative development services to address this.
Claremont applied a behavioural-insight process, which involved research and testing with both stakeholders and the public. This led to the new, clearer messaging of "Phone, Float, Throw," which improved comprehension and recall. The solution was well-received, increasing bystander confidence and gaining strong support from the Forum's partners. Claremont provided a toolkit of assets for the campaign's upcoming public launch.
