Akrivia builds GlobalMinds with Claremont to reach 50,000 participants

Akrivia, a company spun out from Oxford University, faced the challenge of advancing research into serious mental health conditions and dementias. Their ambitious GlobalMinds research programme needed to attract 50,000 participants to create a detailed dataset, which required understanding the factors that would enable or hinder people from taking part. Claremont partnered with Akrivia to address this challenge.

Claremont implemented a comprehensive solution, beginning with research to build a hypothesis of participant behavior. They then co-designed the entire participant experience, including the brand, messaging, user journey, and a stakeholder engagement strategy to build trust and share the programme's vision. Claremont also helped formulate an evaluation framework to track progress. As a result, GlobalMinds successfully launched in late spring 2025, with the partnership focused on building momentum and attracting participants to help change the outlook for this underserved area of public health.
