Whitaker Center builds a 7,000 sq ft PNC Innovation Zone with Clair Global

The Whitaker Center, a science and arts education center, partnered with Clair Global to design a technology solution for its new PNC Innovation Zone. Their challenge was to create a cutting-edge esports and gaming studio that would appeal to teenagers and older learners, preventing them from "aging out" of the science center, while also breaking down gender and equity barriers in technology.

Clair Global was involved from the initial concept phase to design and execute the audiovisual and data services solution. The result was a 2,000 sq ft purpose-built gaming studio featuring thirty high-end educational gaming rigs connected to large screen TVs. This legitimate esports venue successfully embedded "cool" into its DNA, fulfilling its mission to stimulate interest in STEAM activities and inspire future digital leaders.
