How For Our Future Uses Civis Platform’s Query Tool to Define and Refine Voter Outreach Success

For Our Future Action Fund, a nonprofit political organization, needed a better way to centralize and query data from multiple voter outreach and reporting systems so it could clearly define program success and support year-round organizing. Working with Civis Analytics, the team wanted a cohesive analytics ecosystem that would let them quickly turn data into trustworthy reports instead of spending time debating what the facts were.

Civis Analytics implemented Civis Platform, especially the Query tool, to give For Our Future a centralized place to import, transform, analyze, and report on data directly in Amazon Redshift. The result was a major reduction in time spent wrangling data, faster report generation, and better day-to-day decision-making; Morales says querying the Redshift cluster now accounts for about 90% of the data team’s Platform usage, and the new searchable query history has made workflows even smoother and more efficient.
