Vietnamese Friendship Association - Customer Case Study

The Vietnamese Friendship Association (VFA) is a Seattle-based nonprofit that supports students, families, and immigrant communities and needed an intuitive CRM to manage events, online payments, reporting, and fundraising on their WordPress site. After finding Salesforce cumbersome and relying on fee-taking ticketing services like Eventbrite and Brown Paper Tickets, VFA turned to CiviCRM for a user-friendly, integrated database solution.

Using CiviCRM (including CiviEvent and CiviReport) integrated with their WordPress site, VFA built a centralized donor database, improved online payment processing, and automated event promotion and follow-up. CiviCRM helped VFA accurately track who is donating, tailor communications by donation history, realize tremendous growth in donations, and save money by eliminating third‑party ticketing fees.
