A CiviCRM Case Study

Preview of the American Friends Service Committee - New York Case Study

Using CiviCRM to communicate the mission of the AFSC

American Friends Service Committee - New York, a non-profit peace and social justice organization with multiple regional offices, faced fragmented constituent data across regions and limited internal staff resources. To improve outreach and centralize contact management they chose CiviCRM (deployed on Drupal) to support web-based constituent management, mass e-mailing and web-form integration.

CiviCRM was implemented as a regional database solution to provide web access for each site, manage constituent groups, send volume e-mails, capture form sign-ups, and export data for snail mailings. As a result, CiviCRM enabled American Friends Service Committee - New York to streamline outreach workflows, consolidate regional data access, and consistently run large-scale email and mailing campaigns despite constrained staff capacity.
