Using CiviCRM for a Membership Organization

Gateway Off-Road Cyclists (GORC), a 501(c)(3) nonprofit focused on trail advocacy and maintenance in the St. Louis area, needed to replace a dated Dreamweaver site with a modern Drupal 7 site and a reliable system to manage memberships, renewals, event registration and volunteer hours, plus a live trail‑conditions feature for visitors. They selected CiviCRM as the membership management backbone to integrate with Drupal.

Spry Digital implemented and configured CiviCRM on Drupal 7, migrated existing member data, and built membership, event and volunteer‑hours workflows alongside a custom trail conditions module and social login. The CiviCRM-based solution centralized membership, donations, sponsorships and event registration, streamlined renewals and volunteer tracking, and positioned GORC to expand outreach and grow memberships.
