The Texas Home School Coalition reduces admin burden with CiviCRM by giving members and non-members 24/7 self-service portal access

The Texas Home School Coalition (THSC), a state organization serving the homeschool community, had an existing portal with limited integration to CiviCRM. Their challenge was to offer members and non-members a self-service portal to manage their own information and interact directly with their data in CiviCRM, thereby reducing the administrative burden on their staff.

To accomplish this, CiviCRM worked with BackOffice Thinking to create a custom portal environment using Drupal and CiviCRM. The new solution provided enhanced functionality and deeper integration, allowing constituents to manage their own data, memberships, donations, and event registrations. This significantly reduced the amount of time THSC staff had to spend on data management, allowing them to focus more on advancing their mission.
