The SanTe Group migrates 10,000 cases to CiviCRM

The SanTe Group, a leading provider of crisis psychiatric care and system management services, faced the challenge of transitioning from a problematic, paper-based custom web application to a modern, efficient electronic health records (EHR) system. They partnered with CiviCRM and utilized its CiviCase component to manage their complex crisis response workflows and reporting requirements across multiple departments and office locations.

The solution implemented by CiviCRM involved migrating the system to an open source LAMP stack, creating 71 custom case activities and over 1,000 custom fields to track all necessary data. CiviCRM also facilitated the development of a custom offline desktop application for mobile teams and integrated electronic signature capture. The results included a streamlined, paperless process capable of handling approximately 10,000 migrated cases and supporting around 50 concurrent users across five separate office installations.
