The First Tee of Denver - Customer Case Study

The First Tee of Denver is a nonprofit that teaches youth life skills through golf and was struggling with fragmented systems for tracking students, parents, classes, programs and fundraising across three metro-area sites. To centralize registrations, payments, donor records and bulk email lists, they chose CiviCRM on Drupal, leveraging features such as Contacts, Events (CiviEvent), Contributions, Mailings and CiviDiscount.

CiviCRM, with custom Drupal development, delivered a single platform and a parent-facing registration portal that lets guardians log in, register multiple children for multiple classes at once, see class capacity, and have payments tied to the parent account. The implementation consolidated event and contribution history across all three locations, streamlined mass emailing and donor management, and made registration notably easier for parents and staff—though the rollout required additional customization and training to complete.
