A CiviCRM Case Study
The Sustainable Furnishings Council, an educational and marketing organization promoting healthy, sustainable practices across the furniture supply chain, needed a visually striking, mobile-friendly website that put member promotion front and center to add exposure and value for members. To achieve that, they chose the CiviCRM/Drupal toolset with CiviCRM as the backend CRM/AMS to avoid duplicate data entry and enable powerful member-driven features.
Using CiviCRM integrated with Drupal Views, the vendor built membership search, results and detail pages driven entirely from CiviCRM data (name, description, logo, member level), so staff can create groups, send mass emails and manage members without syncing or double entry. The CiviCRM implementation streamlined administration, preserved a single source of truth for member data, and amplified member exposure by turning the site into a high-referral destination for members.
