Smooth integrated online donations
International Justice Mission is a human rights organisation working in 12 countries to secure justice for victims of slavery, sexual exploitation and other violent oppression. IJM relied on the Charity Choice platform for donations, which did not support recurring giving and redirected donors to a clunky off‑site interface; to improve and streamline its online donations process they turned to CiviCRM.
CiviCRM was installed during a Drupal 6→7 upgrade and its contributions system was used to create on‑site donation pages with PayPal Standard integration, SSL security and PCI compliance, and customized contribution page styling. The CiviCRM implementation kept donors on the site, improved the user experience, clarified where donations go, and secured payment handling for IJM.
