A CiviCRM Case Study
The Immune Deficiency Foundation (IDF), a national nonprofit focused on primary immunodeficiencies, needed a robust peer-to-peer fundraising system that would integrate with their CiviCRM donor database. After an evaluation led by IDF’s Director of Technology and BackOffice Thinking, IDF selected the Rallybound platform and engaged BackOffice Thinking to build the first Rallybound–CiviCRM integration to sync contacts, donations, events and registrations.
BackOffice Thinking implemented a seamless Rallybound integration with CiviCRM that creates and updates contacts and donation records, matches events and registrations, and includes extensive error handling. The CiviCRM-powered solution delivered an intuitive, Facebook-integrated peer-to-peer experience for supporters and staff, was completed on time and on budget, generated long-term cost savings for IDF, and established a repeatable CiviCRM integration model for future projects.
