Powerful, flexible class and conference registration for a leading non-profit capacity-development organization

CompassPoint Nonprofit Services, a nonprofit that runs workshops and a large annual conference, needed to replace a closed-source proprietary registration system that no longer met its needs. They chose CiviCRM (using CiviEvent) to regain control of their data, leverage an active development community, and support bulk/multi-person registration workflows required by constituent organizations.

Working with implementer Giant Rabbit, CiviCRM was configured and extended—most notably with a Multiple Event Registration system—to allow a single staffer to register many people for multiple events at once; all legacy data and future registrations were migrated into the new platform. The CiviCRM-based solution delivered flexible, finance-ready event registration and reporting, restored CompassPoint’s data control, and continues to be enhanced with ongoing feature development.
