Oasis Shelter Home - Customer Case Study

Oasis Shelter Home is a temporary shelter and counseling organization serving survivors of domestic and sexual violence that relies heavily on grants and donations. Faced with limited budget, incomplete data, and no reliable way to track donations, send timely thank-you notes, analyze donor trends, or report cash and in‑kind contributions to granting agencies, Oasis adopted CiviCRM to provide a secure online system to manage these needs.

Working with developer Eric Ragsdale of West American Technologies and Oasis staff, CiviCRM was implemented as a centralized donor and grant-tracking platform. CiviCRM enabled secure tracking of donations and grants, automated donor communications, trend analysis, and accurate cash and in‑kind reporting for funders—improving outreach to frequent donors and strengthening the organization’s ability to support and counsel hundreds of people each year.
