Migrating an Association Management System to CiviCRM

The Missouri Credit Union Association, a non-profit trade association representing credit unions in Missouri, faced an expensive, feature‑poor legacy association management system (Computility) that hindered a comprehensive view of member relationships and manual, time‑consuming workflows. To modernize member services, data accuracy, event management and website integration, the Association migrated to CiviCRM.

CiviCRM was implemented within a new Drupal website to provide constituent relationship tracking, customized automated data imports, web‑based self‑service membership forms, dynamic event fee calculations and conditional discounts, routed contact forms, and advanced search and reporting. The CiviCRM solution streamlined and automated business processes, kept directory data up to date, improved event and communications management, and eliminated the significant annual licensing costs associated with the legacy system.
