Case Study: British Humanist Association achieves unified membership, donation and event management with CiviCRM

A CiviCRM Case Study

Preview of the British Humanist Association Case Study

Managing everything with Civi and WordPress

The British Humanist Association, a UK non-profit promoting Humanism and a secular state, needed an intuitive, powerful CRM that worked with their WordPress site, supported online joining, donations and direct debits, event registration, and removed the need for manual syncing between separate systems. They chose CiviCRM to meet those requirements.

Deployed on WordPress with initial setup and data migration support from NFP Services, CiviCRM now consolidates contacts, memberships, donors, contributions, events and mailings in a single system. The Association can accept PayPal, credit‑card and direct‑debit payments, let members update their details, and enable staff to quickly update records, send emails and view full contact histories — eliminating previous manual data syncs and avoiding costly custom integrations with CiviCRM.
