The customer, MAF Norge, sought a way to process donations sent via text message and have them automatically recorded in their system. They turned to the vendor, CiviCRM, and utilized its platform along with a specific SMS gateway from PsWinCom to address this challenge.

The solution implemented by CiviCRM involved two components: a PsWinCom SMS provider integration and a newly developed SMS Autoreply extension. This allowed MAF Norge to send keyword-triggered SMS messages that could charge a donor's phone bill and then automatically log the contribution within CiviCRM. The result was a fully automated donation pipeline, saving administrative work and providing immediate fundraising reports, which the customer described as a "dream come true."
