A CiviCRM Case Study
HR Council for the Nonprofit Sector needed a way to centralize constituent activity — an organization-wide address book, newsletter delivery, online event registration and the ability to track staff communications such as calls and emails. They selected CiviCRM as the Contact Relationship Management system to meet these needs, with a key challenge being the cleanup and import of multiple existing mailing lists into the new system.
CiviCRM, implemented and extended by the Freeform Solutions team in collaboration with the HR Council, consolidated contacts into a single database, enabled automated newsletter delivery and online event registration, and provided logs of past communications and registrations. The solution resulted in a unified source of truth for constituent data, streamlined communications workflows, and the successful consolidation of multiple mailing lists into CiviCRM, improving visibility and operational efficiency for the HR Council for the Nonprofit Sector.
