A CiviCRM Case Study
Amnesty International Vlaanderen, part of Amnesty International’s global human rights network, has used CiviCRM since 2011 as its central system for managing contacts and fundraising data. The organization needed a better way to bring together information from its website, peer-to-peer fundraising apps, and door-to-door recruitment partners, while reducing manual work in onboarding new street recruitment agencies.
CiviCRM, working with partner CiviCooP, implemented a custom extension that automatically collects data from street recruitment agencies and creates contacts, recurring donations/SEPA mandates, and related activities when needed. The solution streamlined donor management and made onboarding new agencies much faster by allowing field, campaign, and prefix mapping without technical support; while no hard numeric impact was reported, Amnesty International Vlaanderen gained a more automated and scalable fundraising workflow.
