Herita, a Belgian heritage non-profit behind OpenMonumenten.be, needed an efficient public website and an advanced CRM to manage members, events and monuments under a tight three-month deadline. CiviCRM was selected as the CRM platform to handle member management, imports, event registration and online payments alongside a Drupal 8 front end and API synchronizations.

Using CiviCRM integrated with Drupal 8 (implemented by the project team), Herita completed member imports, UiT API syncs, online membership registration and Mollie payments, plus search, mapping and scalable hosting for peak traffic. The project was delivered on time and within budget, enabled reliable high-volume performance for Open Monumentendag, and paved the way for a second phase to add a B2B site — all driven by CiviCRM-backed CRM functionality.
