Global Faith Community Gains Greater Insight Into Donor Relationships

Mennonite World Conference, a global faith-based NGO with thousands of members and donors, needed a low-cost, minimally customized donor management system to break down data silos, improve reporting, and give distributed staff and volunteers easy access to up-to-date contact, donation and event information. They selected CiviCRM (deployed on Drupal), an open-source CRM built for the not-for-profit sector, to replace outdated systems and better capture the relationships of participants across the organization.

CiviCRM, customized by PeaceWorks, consolidated interactions, scheduling, fundraising and event registration into a single system with role-based access and multi-currency reporting. The implementation delivered unified reporting, eliminated duplicate data entry, provided complete donor histories to seed new campaigns, and streamlined mass communications and event management — enabling Mennonite World Conference staff worldwide to respond more effectively and improve fundraising and engagement.
