A CiviCRM Case Study
Reach Out and Read Colorado, a nonprofit working at the intersection of education and public health, needed help with an aging WordPress website and a poor donation experience. They were already using CiviCRM, but the platform had not been configured properly: default CiviCRM giving forms were bulky and inconsistent with the site, donors were redirected to a third‑party giving page, and the organization faced high bounce rates and duplicated manual work.
The site was rebuilt and CiviCRM was reconfigured to deliver an on‑site, branded giving flow integrated with WordPress, eliminating the third‑party donation redirect and duplicate contribution entry. By leveraging CiviCRM for streamlined contribution capture and a simpler, more engaging form, the organization improved donor engagement, reduced bounce in the donation funnel, and simplified back‑office tracking.
