Friends of the San Pedro River manages 240 members and 70 volunteers with CiviCRM

Friends of the San Pedro River (FSPR) is a volunteer, non-profit organization dedicated to the conservation of the San Pedro River. Their challenge was to find a constituent management solution to integrate their 240 members and 70 active volunteers, automate renewal reminders, and capture financial contributions and volunteer records without the threat of vendor lock-in.

The solution was implemented using the open-source CiviCRM platform, which provided a soup-to-nuts suite of tools including CiviMember, CiviMail, and CiviVolunteer. CiviCRM allowed for the straightforward import of contact and membership records and was deployed on a flexible, cloud-based system for easy backup and management. The organization successfully integrated its records and looks forward to exploring more of CiviCRM's capabilities to meet its future needs.
