French American Chamber of Commerce – New York (FACC-NY) needed a more flexible way to manage member data, online registrations, membership prospects, and engagement across its network of chambers. After moving away from an Access database and a limited chamber management system, the organization chose CiviCRM, supported by Cividesk, for its open-source flexibility and experience with French-American chambers.
CiviCRM was implemented with a customized website integration, member dashboard, searchable shared membership directory, smart groups, CiviMail, Mosaico, reporting, and event management tools. With CiviCRM, FACC-NY can track member-to-member introductions, event engagement, and conversions from non-members to members, while managing more than 40 events a year; the organization also reports that its image feels more modern and that the new reports provide key performance indicators to improve outreach and grow membership.
