A CiviCRM Case Study
The Rocky Mountain chapter of the French American Chamber Of Commerce, a membership-based nonprofit with about 200 members and 12 events a year, faced fragmented systems (Excel, separate email and event tools), frequent duplicate data entry, and limited in-house technical capacity. They selected CiviCRM (implemented and hosted by Cividesk) to centralize membership, events, contributions, mailings and reporting and to streamline day-to-day operations.
CiviCRM was delivered as a fully configured, hosted solution with custom integrations (including synchronization with the TYPO3 public directory and Google Apps) developed by Cividesk. The implementation automated membership renewals and online registrations, eliminated duplicate data entry by synchronizing the online directory with the database, enabled targeted mailings and event communications, and produced better activity and revenue reports—allowing the French American Chamber Of Commerce to efficiently manage ~200 members and 12 annual events, reduce manual updates, and improve staff and board collaboration.
