Faith-based survey engagement for 30,000 contacts across 30 campuses

Power to Change Ministries ran a Fall 2011 campus campaign to collect roughly 30,000 student contacts across 30 campuses and needed a CRM to manage survey data capture and follow-up by staff and volunteers. They requested a CiviCRM solution integrated with their Drupal site to support local data entry from printed survey cards and role-based access for team leaders, students, staff and volunteers.

CiviCRM was implemented using CiviEvent plus custom data fields and profiles, with single sign-on integration and filters/reports to assign and track respondents. The system enabled about 100 employees and 400 volunteer leaders to enter and follow up on contacts, supported capture of ~30,000 names across 30 campuses, and delivered on a tight mid-July to end-of-August timeline (with a 14-day post-launch fix-it period), greatly improving Power to Change Ministries’ ability to engage and track survey respondents.
