Pets Alive is a no-kill animal rescue focused on rescue, adoption and advocacy that needed a better way to manage donations and communicate with supporters. Their existing CiviCRM instance (used for contacts, contributions, CiviMail and Reports) had fallen into disuse after the volunteer who managed it left, so Pets Alive needed upgrades, ongoing support and grant funding to get donor tracking and outreach back on track.

CiviCRM was upgraded and reactivated (with hosted/support services) so Pets Alive could centralize donation records, generate financial reports, and send thank-you letters by CiviMail or printed PDFs for donors without email. The relaunch restored day-to-day donor tracking, simplified follow-up and reporting, and positioned Pets Alive to add online event pages, registration and web donations integrated with WordPress—demonstrating CiviCRM’s measurable impact on streamlined donations management and supporter communication.
