ESN go live on Civi for Annual Conference and membership

The European Social Network (ESN) is a membership network of organisations responsible for designing and delivering local public social services across Europe. ESN needed to replace an Access database and scattered spreadsheets with a single CRM able to handle membership, their flagship annual conference (under very tight timelines), multilingual communications (5+ languages), seminars, workshops, hotel and speaker bookings, and online payments — requirements that led them to choose CiviCRM.

CiviCRM (implemented with support from NfP Services) was configured to deliver Events, Membership and bulk emailing/newsletters with full web-enabled membership joining, online booking/payments, automated multi-language communications and self-profiling. The solution went live in time for the Barcelona conference and has since supported subsequent flagship events in Prague and Warsaw (with Copenhagen in planning), enabling ESN to replace legacy systems and manage events, members and communications far more efficiently.
