Fundación Instituto Leloir (FIL) is Argentina’s leading life‑sciences research and training institute. Tasked with migrating and managing an existing donor database and implementing recurring monthly billing, FIL faced adoption hurdles for non‑technical users and the complexity of Argentina’s payment methods (real‑time transactions were not available). The organization selected CiviCRM to manage donors, contributions and communications, using features such as Contacts, Contributions, Mailings and Events.

CiviCRM was deployed (with a custom module developed by IXIAM) to integrate monthly credit‑card and bank‑account contributions and to support file‑exchange workflows required by local payment providers. As a result, CiviCRM enabled FIL to manage its donor database more effectively, run mass mailings and event invitations, and automate monthly billing—delivering a consistent, simple and agile system that streamlined fundraising operations.
