Leloir Institute Foundation (Fundación Instituto Leloir) is Argentina’s leading life‑sciences research center. The Foundation needed to migrate and centralize its existing donor database and begin charging regular monthly contributions from donors’ credit cards and bank accounts, while coping with Argentina’s non–real‑time payment methods and ensuring the system would be usable by non‑technical staff. They chose CiviCRM to manage donors, contributions and communications.

CiviCRM was deployed to migrate the donor data, run mass mailings and event invitations, and—using an IXIAM‑developed module—integrate monthly recurring payment processing despite local payment file formats and timing constraints. As a result, the Leloir Institute Foundation now manages its donor database far more effectively, sends large‑scale communications, and automates monthly contribution charges, delivering a simpler, more consistent and more agile fundraising operation with CiviCRM.
