CiviCoop launches new member sign-up with CiviCRM in September 2021

CiviCoop, a collaborative organization within the CiviCRM community, created a project to demonstrate various technical implementations of its CiviCRM platform. Their challenge was to build and present a specific use case that showed the process of a new member signing up for a paid membership on a website, illustrating how the signup and payments are processed from the perspectives of the constituent, staff, and management.

The solution implemented by CiviCRM involved integrating CiviCRM with WordPress as separate installations using the Connector to CiviCRM with CiviMcRestFace for WordPress and FormProcessor for CiviCRM. This setup successfully demonstrated the complete automated process for new membership signups and payments. The result was a clear, inspirational use case presented on a public website with supporting videos to help others understand what is involved in setting up such a system.
