City Bible Forum - Customer Case Study

City Bible Forum, a non-profit that runs discussion groups across Australia's mainland capitals, found its handcrafted Microsoft Access database could not keep up with rapid growth in activities and constituent relationships. To integrate contacts with its website and support email communications, donations and event management, City Bible Forum switched to CiviCRM (deployed on Drupal) to replace the old system.

CiviCRM delivered an integrated contact-and-web platform (contacts, events, email/mailings, contributions/donations and reports) that automated event registration, mailings and donation processing. Implemented with limited internal resources and community support, CiviCRM enabled City Bible Forum to successfully replace Access, free staff to focus more on relationships, and scale its operations to handle increased activities and constituent engagement.
