Amnesty International Flanders (AIVL) faced a challenge with its street recruitment process, where a time gap of several weeks delayed new donor data entry into its CiviCRM system. The manual, error-prone process of handling weekly Excel files from a recruiting company was too slow and cumbersome for their ambitious fundraising goals.

CiviCRM, through its community partners, developed a custom extension to automate the daily import of recruitment data. The solution processes CSV files to instantly create donor records, memberships, and direct debit contributions in CiviCRM, drastically reducing manual work. This CiviCRM implementation significantly accelerated data entry and decreased the required manual intervention for Amnesty International Flanders.
