Vluchtelingenwerk Vlaanderen, a non-profit focused on human rights, relief, and social service, has used CiviCRM for more than 10 years to manage donors, donations, events, contacts, and bank files. Their challenge was the annual Refugee Walk fundraising campaign, where they previously had to manually download teams, sponsors, participants, and donation data from the event web app, then transform and import CSV files into CiviCRM.

To streamline this process, Vluchtelingenwerk Vlaanderen worked with CiviCooP to build a connector that automatically pulls data from the Refugee Walk web app into CiviCRM. The solution creates contacts, contributions, events, participants, and activities automatically, saving a lot of time, making key data available faster, and improving follow-up communication.
