City of Sierra Madre - Customer Case Study

The City of Sierra Madre, California (pop. ~11,000) wanted to modernize an aging website to improve information and service delivery and better connect residents with their local government while showcasing the city’s cozy character. CivicLive, a partner since 2015, was engaged to redesign and revamp the site.

CivicLive built an interactive, fully responsive website featuring always-on navigation with a structured mega menu, static quick links, a “How Do I” section for fast access to common tasks, and customized widgets on every sub‑page. The redesign increased accessibility across devices and earned an Interactive Media Award, a Graphic Design USA Design Award, and a W3 Gold Award, demonstrating measurable recognition for improved design and usability.
